Miso-butter potato

Our miso soup balls can be used for more than just soup! We've added them to grains before — and this week, we bring you a simple comfort food recipe to enjoy with your lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow Omiso soup ball (choose nori, goma, or pink peppercorn)*

  • 1 red Omiso soup ball (choose tororo or Italian garlic)*

  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened at room temperature (vegan butter works, as well!)

  • 1 Tbsp mirin

  • 2 Tbsp whole kernel sweet corn

  • 1 lb potato, boiled and sliced

*Our 5pc gift box includes one of each flavor, but the 3pc gift box and the deli pack also include a mix of yellow and red soup balls if you’re not picky about the flavor toppings.

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 450° F.

  2. Mix miso balls, mirin, butter, and corn kernels in a small bowl.

  3. Place sliced potatoes on a baking sheet, and spread the miso-butter mixture over potatoes.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly charred.
