Niku Miso Meat Pasta

Having Niku (meat) Miso in your fridge at all times is incredibly useful! Here is a super easy recipe for pasta but Niku Miso can be enjoyed over rice, or wrapped in lettuce for a light and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 5oz ground beef

  • 5oz ground pork

      I like the "Aibiki" style (beef & pork ground together).


Directions

  1. Mince Asatsuki chives.

  2. Heat the pan over medium heat.

  3. Add the ground beef & pork and cook, stirring, until the meat is cooked through, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add Omiso®︎ Garlic Glaze into the pan and cook for about few minutes. 

  5. Lower the heat and add the Asatsuki chives to the pan.

    <Pasta>

    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    2. Add the spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente.

    3. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

    4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

    5. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine. 

    7. Serve the Niku Miso on top of the pasta. Enjoy!
